Kitsap County Fiscal Support Specialist in East Port Orchard, Washington
[POSITION INFORMATION]{.underline} The successful candidate will perform fiscal, analytical, planning, and coordination work for a variety of fiscal programs. Work requires knowledge and experience that is specific to the various programs. The specialized tasks involve interpretation of policies, procedures and regulations, coordination/administration, independent functioning and public contact. Work is performed under direct supervision and on a fairly independent basis with minimal direction and guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
[REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:]{.underline}
- High school diploma or GED and
- Four years of fiscal/accounting experience utilizing MS excel and other fiscal software programs; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.
[PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, OR QUALIFICATIONS:]{.underline}
- Previous government experience.
- Experience supporting all aspects of assigned projects/programs, including coordination, research, customer service, organization, and meeting deadlines.
The hourly salary for this position ranges from $24.35 - $34.41. This position offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a pension retirement, and other voluntary benefits.
