Kitsap County Financial Analyst in East Port Orchard, Washington
The Department of Human Services, Division of Aging and Long-Term Care (ALTC) has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team. You will perform a variety of grant accounting/financial support activities with numerous deadlines to apply complex regulations to our division budget, involving special revenues, a variety of grants, revenue reimbursements, and utilization reports. Working under the direction of the ALTC Administrator, you will work independently and exercise independent judgement to reconcile accounting problems within statutory requirements and established policies. You will participate in subcontractor monitoring and oversight of fiscal reviews. Our new team member will ideally have knowledge of the accounting structure, accounting and financial principles, practices and methods; federal/state/local legislative guidelines; data collection, data processing and reporting; and program planning, coordination and development. Our new team member should have a working accounting knowledge as it pertains to public entities and special revenues.
