Kitsap County Environmental Program Analyst in East Port Orchard, Washington

Join the Kitsap County Department of Public Works as our Environmental Program Analyst and help the Roads Engineering and Maintenance Divisions with environmental compliance and permitting. This position supports both Capital and maintenance projects during design, construction and post-construction by obtaining permits, developing reports (such as Habitat Management Plans), ensuring compliance and performing monitoring duties.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in related field; and
Three years of related experience performing environmental analysis, obtaining permits and ensuring compliance, wetland/stream identification and mitigation, biological assessments and/or other environmental services; OR
Relevant work experience demonstrating required knowledge, skills, and abilities may substitute for educational requirements. Work experience is essential and cannot be replaced by additional education.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,415.90 - $99,495.84. This position offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a pension retirement, and other voluntary benefits.
