Salary: \$30 to \$50/hr (DOE)
What to expect this role to do? The Service Technician provides service and maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Cross training in residential installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems thru proper troubleshooting and industry better practices.
- Bolster the customer experience through superior communication focused on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with team members, onsite and internal, to promote and ensure a 100% customer satisfaction experience.
- Remain up to date on the latest industry trends, service methods, systems, and technology available within the market and the business
Qualifications and Characteristics that you have:
- 2 + years of HVAC service / maintenance experience Universal EPA Certification
- 06A Electrical license or Logged hours on trainee card
- Proficient at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of residential equipment
- Good understanding of all HVAC low voltage systems & ability to acquire 06A license
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Experience making repair and replace decisions
- Residential installation experience desired
- Advanced customer service skills
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
- Knowledge of and ability to follow city and county installation codes
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools and surroundings
- Willingness to invest time in training and classes
- Valid driver\'s license and insurable driving record
Education desired:
- Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School
- NATE Certified
