Position Receiver

Description

About this role

Assist in performing all receiving, warranty & inventory functions associated with in-house and offshore FG product.

What you will do

  • Perform all receiving steps for all Finished Goods arriving from in-house and offshore locations.

  • Assist Warranty Lead in processing and put away of RA’s from USA and Canada.

  • Perform all loading dock activities including unloading/loading of all shipments of every type; packing slip verification; dock organization; notification and/or delivery of proper departments.

  • Complete the unloading of all shipments and verify packing slips

  • Organize loading dock caged areas

  • Assist in the delivery of incoming packages to individuals or coordinate with Production to deliver raw materials to appropriate floors.

  • Perform inventory location tasks to ensure most efficient use of warehouse storage space and to maintain highest levels of inventory accuracy. Includes put away, inventory cycle counts, and replenishment

  • Assist in the picking and packing of customer orders as needed

  • Drive company van for deliveries and pick-ups

  • Other projects as directed by Warehouse Supervisor

    Position Requirements

What you should bring to the table:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three to six months experience in a warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • One year experience in retail or wholesale receiving and/or distribution

  • One year experience in direct application of inventory control system software

  • Specific experience in Acceptance Quality Level (AQL) is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent attendance record

  • Current valid WA driver’s license

  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Familiarity and/or certification (or ability to be certified) in use of pallet jack (hydraulic and battery electric), counting scale, motor vehicle, hand truck, fork lift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally “share lift” and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions; otherwise, this is a typical

Warehouse environment with concrete floors, adequate lighting and temperature control. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
