Position: Full Time Corps Front Desk / ReceptionistHours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Compensation: Hourly wage $14.49

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible to Corps Officer

  • Secretarial duties are primarily as follows: Responsible for daily secretarial duties such as answering phones, takingmessages, returning calls.

  • Data collection, compiling of information, and computer entry.

  • Filing and maintaining information binders

  • Occasional assistance in research and correspondence

  • Receptionist duties are primarily as follows:

  • Act as greeter to clients and visitors

  • Collect and verify client information

  • Direct clients to appropriate help stations

Must oversee the distribution of food boxes (including maintenance of food room and filling food boxes)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.

  • Must be able to interact with co-workers and general public of diverse backgrounds and circumstances

  • Much have organizational skills with an attention to detail.

  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work with flexible daily duties.

  • Verbal skills (i.e. phone courtesy)

  • Must be a team player

  • Have the ability to follow instructions

  • Must be able to hold the highest level of business and client confidentiality

Basic understanding and working knowledge of Windows applications (i.e. spreadsheet & word processing)

Function: To be support staff in the daily running of corps operations. As Corps Front desk / Receptionist you will aid in the daily tracking of information and act as the initial point of contact to the general public.

Receptionist Duties: Responsible for at as the point of contact to the general public.

  • Greet clients and visitors and determine their need

  • Collect appropriate information and refer them to the appropriate assistance provider

  • Act as point of contact for donations (gifts in kind), offer receipts, and record gifts

  • Acts as point of contact and collect paperwork on volunteers and community service workers

  • Distribute food boxes to clients if eligible

  • Must maintain food room and fill food boxes for distribution when volunteers are not available

  • Keep the lobby / reception area clean and tidy

Responsible as support staff in the daily running of corps operations.

  • Answer phones including referrals, messages, and returning phone calls.

  • Maintain all files, filing system, and informational binders

Data collection, compiling of information, and computer data entry for (including, but not limited to the following)

  • Social Service client information, Phone logs, Vehicle mileage logs, Weekly Sunday bulletins, Occasional letter writing.

  • Scheduling of appointments for Staff Other entry as needed

Additional Seasonal Duties:

  • Christmas client intakes, Aid in application distribution, Screening, Data entry, Aid in the reporting process as needed, Adopt – a – Family Program , Oversee the matching of Christmas clients and company donors, Act as client / donor liaison, Assist with donor recruitment, And oversee the exchange of Christmas items, Other Christmas assistance as needed, Oversee work in other departments in absence of staff.
