Sign-on bonus if hired before 11/15/2021

  • Full time $2000 if working 30+ hours per week

  • Part time $1000 if working 20-29 hours per week

  • 50% paid out on first full pay period and the other 50% upon successful completion of 90 days

    Cook Requirements:

  • Prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying taste; and plating meals.

  • Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.

  • Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.

  • Ensures smooth operation of cafeteria services during absence of supervisor.

  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.

  • Current Washington State Food Handlers Permit

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize duties in an organized and efficient manner.

  • A genuine concern for the elderly and a desire to provide excellent customer service.

  • Positive attitude and professional image.

  • Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed in job duties and work independently or with a team.

  • Provide residents with personal service in a professional and confidential manner.

  • Communicate clearly with residents, fellow co-workers and supervisors.

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma is minimum requirement.

  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Able to push/pull, bend, stoop, grasp, and reach. Able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Our Company follows WA Proclamation 21.14.1 which requires all employees working in the Health Care Setting be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless they are exempt for medical and religious reasons, no later than October 18, 2021.
