Responsibilities:

Bench band saws, leveling and tensioning to company standards. Set up, grinding, and aligning band mill wheels and track on weekends or on overtime as needed. Welding cracked band saws, working out welds and replacing teeth as needed. Will keep working areas clear of waste and spare time will be used productively. Will perform all tasks required by the supervisor, including operating equipment as needed. Keep supervisor informed of parts or supplies needed and/or problems.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to bench and fit round saws, edger saws, band saws and all that compliments, such as feeds and speeds, number of teeth, etc.
