Rural Resources Community Action Program Development Manager (Arden, WA) in Colville, Washington

Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Program Development Manager, this position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits and located at our Arden, WA Warehouse. A Program Development Manager will develop, organize, coordinate and expand assigned programs in Nutrition Services, provide supervision to assigned Nutrition Services staff, and maintain an extensive knowledge of community resources and laws and regulations specific to food distribution.  

A Program Development Manager will need knowledge of community based human services principles and practices and assigned Nutrition programs, as well as thorough knowledge of federal and state policies, procedures, and regulations applicable to the area of assignment. The qualities we are looking for include the ability to develop and implement short and long-range plans for Nutrition Services programs and the ability to plan, develop, organize and execute assigned programs, including monitoring budgets and evaluating the program work.  To apply for this position, you would need a Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field, and two years' experience working for a human services agency in a social service program, fiscal, and/or contracting. At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.  Or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities required to perform the job.

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must maintain automobile insurance as required by the State of Washington.
  • Acceptable completion of a criminal history background check.

Preferences

  • Previous supervisory experience.

Salary & Benefit information

The hiring range for this role is $23.60-$25.53 per hour. The full salary range of $23.60-$39.30 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase.  As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA.
