Northeast Washington Alliance Counseling Services Front Office Receptionist - Float in Colville, Washington

TITLE: Front Office Receptionist -- Float

DUTIES:  Greet customers and visitors in a professional and cordial manner.  Operate a multi-line phone system, schedules appointments, receipt and collect fees for services.  Answer questions concerning program availability, procedures, fee schedules, etc.  Conduct financial screenings, verify insurance coverage, and assist clients with paperwork.  Use proper protocols for dealing with clients and crisis calls.  Monitors and files clinical records and associated paperwork.  Screen incoming calls, and forwards or takes messages, as appropriate.  Comply with confidentiality laws pertaining to disclosure about current or former clients.  Processes all office mail.  Send faxes and distribute faxes as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:   High school diploma/GED certification.  Minimum two (2) years experience preferably in a healthcare setting.  Keyboard and computer skills with Microsoft Outlook application software required.  Able to handle high volume of phone calls in busy environment.  Good interpersonal skills in working with the public.  Ability to work independently, maintain confidential information, and protect confidential records.  Must be  professional, adaptable and have ability to handle stress, and enjoy public contact work.  Prefer someone with initiative and able to learn quickly.  Travel within Stevens, Ferry and Lincoln Counties required.  Agency vehicle available.  The applicant hired will be required to pass a pre-employment background check as a condition of employment.  

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Annual salary *$47,568.00 - $57,756.00.  *Full time employees (and their families) receive $1100 per month for enrollment in company medical, dental, and vision as well as employer paid life insurance with voluntary plan options, Washington State Retirement Plans and deferred compensation plans, 12 paid holidays per year and start at 12 hours of paid time off per month.
