Tripp Distributing Inc. Delivery Truck Driver in Colville, Washington
Tripp Distributing Inc. is a family owned Beverage Wholesaler located in Colville, WA. We are looking for a Delivery Truck Driver. Great culture and work/life balance with 4 day work week. *Essential Duties & Responsibilities *include but not limited to:
- Merchandising stores, rotating product, building displays, following Sales Reps directions.
- Drive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver product to retail accounts.
- Collects and picks up empty containers and pallets.
- Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness.
- Upon completion of delivery route, follow check in procedures and verify payment and invoices.
- Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Beverage delivery experience preferred
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Work with minimal supervision; willingness to learn; flexibility and enthusiasm for job.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 160 pounds.
- Operate pallet jack and hand cart in safe manner.
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
