*TITLE: * Crisis Stabilization Facility Behavioral Health Technician (1.0 FTE)
DUTIES: Primary responsibility is to provide "Crisis Stabilization" and related services to consumers who are experiencing a mental health crisis and are admitted to the Lee Smutzler Crisis Stabilization Facility (CSF). This includes assisting consumers with self-care and other activities of daily living; provide assistance with face-to-face life skills training, monitoring consumer vital signs (weight, blood pressure, pulse, etc.), understanding of medication side effects, providing "Medication Monitoring" services to consumers; ensure proper care of consumer's health conditions; monitoring consumers for treatment response, provide interventions as directed by "primary clinician" and/or "designated mental health professional," assist consumers with resource acquisition for various life domains, and other related duties.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Successful applicant will need to be credentialed through the Washington State Department of Health as an "Agency Affiliated Counselor" (can be obtained after hire) OR have a Washington State Department of Health credential as a "Certified Nurse Assistant" and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with persons suffering from mental disorders is strongly preferred. Able to communicate in oral and written form. Computer literacy desirable -- clinical software used. Abstract of driving record for past three years required. Satisfactory criminal history backgrounds check results are a condition of employment.
SALARY AND BENEFITS: $20.92 -- $25.89 hourly plus shift differentials. Full time employees (and their families) receive $1100 per month for enrollment in company medical, dental, and vision as well as employer paid life insurance with voluntary plan options, Washington State Retirement Plans and deferred compensation plans, 12 paid holidays per year and start at 12 hours of paid time off per month.
