Summary: As a Live Crab Handler, you are responsible for assisting in all aspects of preparing crab for live shipping. Key Responsibilities: Unload live crab. Inspect live crab and sort for size and quality. Handle live crab in various capacities such as receiving, unloading, banding, transferring and moving. Weigh the product at various stages of the production process. Assist in the packaging process from loading conveyor to packing boxes to strapping, labelling, palletizing and wrapping. Support and participate in preparatory activities such as box making, brine tank charging, minor repairs and adjustments, clean up. Follow health and safety guidelines. Perform other duties, as assigned. What You Bring to Pacific Seafood: Required: None Preferred: Previous experience with the utilization of food processing equipment, sanitation and food safety, and the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Pay Range: $ 18.00 per Hour Total Compensation: At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
