We are also building systems to leverage machine learning, image processing and data analytics as well. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Ship Services team in Amazon Fulfillment Technology. This position will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary teams and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative environment. In this role, you will design and develop solutions that are massively scalable and deployed across all the regions. This position will be filled with a candidate identified as a future leader, capable of driving the next generation architecture for our systems that are crucial for Amazon Fulfillment Technology. A day in the life Please note, AFT is moving offices from Seattle, WA building to Bellevue, WA 555 (Sonic) Building in mid-September 2023. About the team Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers Amazon\'s global fulfillment network. We invent and deliver software, hardware, and data science solutions that orchestrate processes, robots, machines, and people. We harmonize the physical and virtual world so Amazon customers can get what they want, when they want it. Outbound Flow AFT\'s Outbound Flow team pairs data science with innovative technologies to optimize throughput within every Amazon fulfillment center. We deliver smiles for Amazon customers with safe, sustainable, cost-effective, on-time package deliveries. The base pay for this position ranges from \$115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to \$223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
