We are looking for a motivated, data-oriented self-starter to join as a Sr. Program Manager on the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Service Level Standards (SLS) Safety team! We seek a leader who can set priorities, communicate effectively, and consistently deliver results across diverse cross-functional teams, while focusing on internal automation and scaling to enable network-wide implementation. Having the ability to solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative, and practical solutions that drive accountability is a key skill-set in this role. Owning end-to-end program management will be critical for this role, including program design/ideation, stakeholder and leadership alignment, influencing partner team (including tech) roadmaps, development of KPIs, and overseeing successful execution. You will be successful in this role if you can manage multiple competing priorities, often with urgent deadlines. You will also need to be a proven program and project leader, communicator, and problem solver, with very strong analytical skills. This role can be based out of Bellevue, WA, Austin, TX, or Nashville, TN. Key job responsibilities * Establish and deliver important new initiatives with broad cross-organizational impact to improve DSP on-road safety performance. * Define and document business requirements for program automation and expansion, including functional requirements for technical teams. * Maintain proactive oversight and partner with Amazon stakeholders to drive continuous improvement relating to DSP driver risk reduction and incident reduction. * Analyze safety performance metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights, including the design and implementation of new metrics, including metric adoption by partner teams. * Identify needed areas of performance improvement, and prioritize program initiatives in accordance with data/performance signals. * Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, to drive buy-in and adoption across a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities, including executive presentations. * Perform initiative/program training activities with internal Amazon stakeholders and DSP representatives. A day in the life In this role, the Sr. Program Manager will be accountable for leveraging available data and insights to drive programmatic improvements to reduce unsafe driving behaviors. This will include a deep understanding of the available datasets to design and implement new programs and processes to improve safe driving. This role will regularly work with a wide variety of partner teams, both non-technical and technical, to establish and refine mechanisms that improve DSP on-road safety performance. You will operate with autonomy, demonstrating high judgment in decisions with broad implications.
