Job Description Puget Sound Energy's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department is looking for a Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the business manages the enterprise risks that can directly impact our ability to achieve our strategic objectives. This position supports the ERM Program Manager and Chief Risk Officer by engaging collaboratively with the business and functions to understand the company's risk landscape, enhance enterprise risk identification and assessment processes, help develop mitigations and track risk responses. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker, has a robust comprehension of the complex utility industry, has experience with risk management and/ or risk management theory, possesses excellent written, verbal and communication, presentation and reporting skills, and is skilled in data analytics. Job Responsibilities Partner with team members and PSE leadership to identify, assess, and proactively manage or mitigate risks before they occur. Develop, implement and improve methodology for quantification of risk. Develop and disseminate ERM risk dashboards and reports that promote meaningful and consistent risk monitoring and reporting tailored to different audiences. Conduct industry research and prepare risk briefs on current and emerging risks. Utilize technology and tools to support and improve ERM team processes, procedures and communicate the value of risk management to the company. Assist with planning, scheduling and execution of ERM program components across the business in a timely manner and assist in the further development and maturity of the overall ERM program. Partner with other assurance functions to ensure the alignment of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities between teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience 5 years work experience as an analyst In-depth knowledge of systems and processes crucial to department operations. Strong problem solving and analytical skills in a complex environment, with exceptional PC skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP and CIS. Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a multi-team environment. Effective written and oral communication skills. Desired Qualifications BA in business, economics, finance, engineering, technology or similar disciplines. Experience in enterprise risk management, including experience with ERM frameworks such as COSO, ISO 31000, RIMS or other similar standards. Experience with AuditBoard or other risk management software. Working knowledge of Power BI and/or other data visualization tools. Strategic, curious, and analytic disposition that thrives when solving complex challenges. Strong verbal and written skills. Experience designing and/or facilitating workshops. Ability to influence without the benefit of positional authority. Ability to challenge others, often in higher positions, respectfully.
