How you'll create opportunities in this Manager/Director - Partnership Capital Consulting role: Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existing clients and mentoring team members. Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of tax due diligence, structuring, modeling and other special project engagements related to acquisitions and dispositions by private equity investor groups, family offices and strategic buyers. Work with CLA specialty tax groups as needed (SALT, Global Tax and Federal Tax Solutions). Perform tax due diligence projects through a review of tax returns, legal documents, and financial statements, and write and review tax due diligence reports. Communicate subchapter K technical concepts with clients and prospects and have a working understanding of subchapter K, familiarity with targeted allocations, and complex partnership transactions. Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers a ton of flexibility, autonomy, and the encouragement to make things happen. Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines for adherence. Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations. What you will need: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have a minimum of 6 years of public accounting or professional services firm with experience in partnership tax compliance and creation of tax basis balance sheets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Alteryx experience is preferred. CPA license certification is required. A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license. The wage range for this position is: $130,000 - $247,000 Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
