Job Description The Major Accounts Executive is responsible for the effective planning and management of customer relations and marketing for assigned key customer accounts. Responsibilities include strategic account management; communications, marketing, and education of PSE programs and initiatives; coordinating customer projects; identification of opportunities and risks, and continued improvement of PSE's customer service for managed accounts. This position negotiates contracts outside of existing tariffed services and coordinates company efforts in the development and implementation of rates, energy supply options, contracts, technology innovations, utility operations and system reliability. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Embraces the PSE 2030 goals and transformation office priorities. Supports the purpose statement, "To be the ultimate partner in the energy industry for our Key Accounts, and to fulfill their current and future energy needs and goals." Job Responsibilities Performs strategic account management. Plans and manages major customer relations engagements. Negotiates special contracts outside of existing tariffed services. Coordinates PSE's efforts in the development and implementation of rates, energy supply options, contracts, technology innovations, utility operations and system reliability for major customers. Leads and/or participates in process improvement initiatives to streamline customer construction and service. Oversees and/or leads special construction projects for major customers. Develops, promotes, communicates and effectively implements a wide range of strategies for major customers. Approves 449/459 customer billings. Manages assigned customers in the Curtailment process. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience in dealing with industrial customers. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong PC skills using Microsoft Office and Outlook applications. Knowledge of Commercial/Industrial programs and tariffs. Demonstrated ability to implement strategic solutions that consider both PSE and customer needs. Desired Qualifications BA/BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Marketing or Finance (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree). Knowledge of energy markets. Experience in energy industry with an emphasis in dealing with large energy loads Additional Information At PSE we value and respect our employees and provide them opportunities to excel. We offer a competitive compensation and rewards package. The pay range for this position is$101,000.00-$168,200.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
