The Amazon Air team currently operates an air cargo network using a fleet of Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft across more than 30 U.S. airports.Amazon Air is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Planning Insights and Analytics team to bridge current performance of our systems and identify opportunities for improvement.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the design, development, and maintenance of new and ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc.Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements to meet business needs.Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and in writingTroubleshoot root cause issues within our complex AIR network and datasetsAbout the teamThe Planning Insights and Analytics team defines and supports the suite of tools and dashboards developed for capacity, speed, attainment, asset utilization, forecasting and other relevant Network Planning functions.Completed bachelors degree3+ years of experience in data analysis and finding actionable business insightsExperience in building visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight, Data Studio or similarExperience writing SQL queries and consuming multiple, large datasets for analysis5+ years of experience in analysis and finding actionable business insightsLogistics/Operations/Supply Chain domain experience is preferredExperience working closely with multiple stakeholders in different geographiesMasters Degree in Analytics, Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldExperience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
