Get started! Requisition Summary The Account Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely processing of accounts payable invoices and other intercompany payable transactions. This position works closely with operations team and other PACCAR divisions on a daily basis to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner and assists with month-end closing process. Job Functions / Responsibilities Actively involved in various month-end financial close processes, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations Process accounts payable invoices for PACCAR Financial (PFC) US & Canada Process expense report via Concur system and key payment vouchers into payable ledger. Process checks requests. Responsible for verifying and coding of invoices with appropriate general ledger account. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Review vendor statements: reconcile and resolve outstanding issues and debit balances timely. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Accounts Payable related research and issue resolution Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or accounting related experience Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem solving skills Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and 10-key by touch Must be flexible and have the ability to work well independently A/P Software basic knowledge a plus Education A two-year associate degree in Accounting preferred Benefits PACCAR offers comprehensive benefits from time of hire through retirement for vested employees and their families.
