Purpose of Job:

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing technical support to ensure quality patient care and user satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs, configures, and maintains physical and virtual server environments.
  • Creates backup jobs and monitors backup systems. Perform validation tests on a regular basis.
  • Configures and maintains cloud services such as Office 365.
  • Assists with planning and execution of hardware/software upgrades and disaster recovery plans.
  • Creates and maintains documentation related to server and storage infrastructure technologies.
  • Serves as escalation resource for helpdesk staff to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Escalates unresolved issues to vendor support.
  • Participates in regular on-call schedule.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travel may be required. 

     

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or commensurate experience in a technical field required. Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred. Microsoft Certified Professional, VMWare VCP, or related certifications preferred. Three or more years of experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, servers, and related storage systems in an enterprise environment required.
