Job Summary:

 

The College of Professional Programs and the School of Social Work at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a part-time position to serve as Wednesday's Child Intensive Recruitment Services Coordinator for the Family Resource and Training Center (FRTC) located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

 

Under general direction of the Wednesday's Child Supervisor, this position will serve any referred child in foster care who does not have an identified permanent adoptive resource. The hired candidate will exercise independent judgment and discretion relating to program policies, guidelines, and contracts and in implementing, interpreting, and applying program procedures and policies.

 

While performing the position's duties, this position will serve as a support to provide sustainability of the Idaho Wednesday's Child Adoption Recruitment Program; will have extensive involvement with staff and the public in carrying out program activities; and will coordinate, schedule, and monitor program activities to determine consistency with program goals.

The FRTC is a partnership between the EWU College of Professional Programs and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) as well as numerous other community service organizations, charities, and Title IV-E program affiliates. The FRTC operates as a training and service center for developing social workers and foster parents throughout the state of Idaho and supporting Social Work interns from EWU.
