Job Summary:

 

The Department of Occupational Therapy (DOT ) at Eastern Washington University (Spokane campus) invites applicant candidates for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position, starting August 16, 2025. We are looking for individuals with experience working in and teaching on the following content: geriatrics, mental health settings, pediatrics, assistive technology, physical disabilities, theory, assessments, and/or health and wellness.

 

This tenure-track position is for an assistant professor but associate professor rank may be negotiated dependent on qualifications. The successful applicant will have clinical expertise in one of the areas listed above and be expected to teach in one or more of these areas as well as several first year courses. The applicant will be expected to engage in scholarly activities, supervise MOT research or capstone projects, and engage in professional, university and departmental service.

 

The Department of Occupational Therapy offers a competitive graduate program for the Master of Occupational Therapy. The MOT program is conducted in a cohort model with 32 students per cohort. The program is completed in 2.5 years. Students complete all academic work during the first two years followed by two 3-month clinical internships.
