Job Summary:

 

Eastern Washington University's Department of Psychology invites applications for two full-time, academic year, Lecturer positions specializing in clinical and/or neuropsychology, and/or specializing in clinical and/or health psychology, to begin January 2, 2024. The position is renewable annually dependent on performance, need, and funding.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Teaching a variety of undergraduate and some graduate courses to fulfill the needs of the Programs and School. Final courses will be determined in consultation with the Chair for each of the positions, and may include Introductory Psychology, Stress and Coping, Health Psychology Research Method, Theories of Personality, Human Neuropsychology, Personality and Behavioral Assessment, Cognitive Assessment, and Practicum.

• Engaging in effective teaching and assessment of student learning

• Actively involving undergraduate and graduate students in research projects, and presentations

• Supervise students engaged in applied experiences

• Participating in Department meetings and collaborating with colleagues to fulfill the missions of the Department

 

The typical teaching load is 45 credits per year, spread over three quarters. The candidate is expected to program specific committees and should be an active member in the department.
