Job Summary:

 

EWU is seeking a Development Coordinator. This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative and event management duties in support of the Office of Philanthropy. This position pro-actively supports the major gift work of the university reporting to the AVP of Philanthropy. The duties of this position are a critical factor for achieving fundraising goals.

 

• Works within a team-oriented environment, interacting with the AVP of Philanthropy and the fundraising team to provide leadership level administrative support for fundraising efforts.

• Interacts and communicates with University Advancement personnel including the Vice President of Advancement, the Vice President's administrative assistant, the President and President's Office staff, campus leaders and alumni.

• Requires knowledge of the University, excellent electronic, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to address confidential and sensitive issues.

• Carries out administrative duties in support of the AVP and frontline fund raisers including unit budget tracking, is involved in donor cultivation and alumni engagement and has significant responsibilities for designing and managing donor-centric events.

• The salary for this position is $48,960 (minimum) up to $65,772. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
