City of Centralia Street/ Stormwater/ Fleet Operations Manager in Centralia, Washington

GENERAL FUNCTION: Under general direction of the Public Works Director, assists with the planning, organization, and direction of all operation and maintenance activities in the City's Storm and Surface Water, Street and Fleet Departments including implementation of the NPDES Phase II Municipal Stormwater permit. Plans, directs, and controls the operation, installation, maintenance, and repair activities in public works involving streets and traffic and pedestrian services; plans, directs and controls the operation of the Fleet Department; plans, directs and controls the activities of the Storm and Surface Water Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree or 5 years progressively related experience in utility administration or utility management, and operation and maintenance. Any combination of education and experience will be considered. • Stormwater Manager Certification desired. Management level Knowledge of Street, Stormwater and Fleet operations is desired. • Washington state driver's license with acceptable driving record is required. • First Aid/CPR/AED and flaggers cards desired. • APWA Leadership courses desired.
