City of Centralia ER & R Lead Mechanic in Centralia, Washington

General Function:
Prioritize the work of mechanics, mechanic assistants as they perform maintenance and repair of equipment for various departments. Oversee the more complex maintenance repair functions. Assist the Street/Stormwater/ER&R Manager with the planning, organization and direction of all operation, maintenance and activities in the City's Equipment Rental and Repair Department.
Education and Experience: High school Diploma or G.E.D., ten years' experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance, demonstrated ability to plan, lead and assume responsibility in the work place or any combination of education and experience that qualifies the candidate for this position.
Valid Washington State driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
Class A CDL required. The ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Card and Flaggers Card.
