Volt is currently looking for a Press Operator in the Cashmere, WA area.

As a Press Operator, you will:

  • Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock, specifications colors, color sequences, and anilox BCM.
  • Follow 6s guidelines assigned to the work area and surrounding areas
  • Perform general maintenance to the press.
  • Efficiently perform job setups and minimize material waste.
  • Ensure that all jobs are run by all work order specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, print specs, and standard operating procedure.
  • Effectively fills out QC logs.
  • Inspect printed label products for quality defects
  • Work with other production personnel to meet department goals
  • Be a team player and maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments
  • Must have the ability to effectively perform various tasks as assigned.

This is a* Full-time opportunity Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00 pm.*

As a* Press Operator* must have:

  • Passion for Quality, Safety, and meeting Customer Specifications
  • Initiative - identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked to or required by the situation
  • A team player with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift to 50-60lbs
  • Ability to read and understand work order tickets
  • Able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours a day
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
  • Frequent use of wrist and hand.

Pay: $30-$35/hr. DOE

The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
