Wilkins, Kaiser & Olsen, Inc. Mechanic in Carson, Washington
MECHANIC
Performs varied tasks associated with maintenance and repair of heavy sawmill, logging, road construction and other mobile equipment ranging from pickup trucks through off-highway trucks. Troubleshoots malfunctions, plans repairs and orders necessary parts. Uses standard and specialized manual, hydraulic and pneumatic tools to dismantle, repair and reassemble components on machinery. Performs layout and fabrication of custom parts or components of machinery.

Mechanic duties and responsibilities include:
Perform service and minor repair on mobile equipment, including forklifts, front end loaders and log yard equipment. Some mechanical aptitude necessary for this position.

Physical ability:
- Must be able to stand and work up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift or carry up to 70 pounds as needed
