Staffing Account Manager

Sigma Design is a product development, engineering, and manufacturing firm. We are currently look for a Staffing Account Manager to join our team in Camas, WA. This role is hybrid. The pay range is  $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience).

    Your Mission as Account Manager: As a pivotal member of our Staffing team, you'll generate new staffing business, build lasting client relationships, and position SIGMADESIGN as the preferred staffing service provider in the Portland Metro area. This role combines outside sales, client relationship management, and strategic business development.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand our client base in the Portland Metro area.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with clients.

  • Regular Client Visits: Conduct in-person meetings to strengthen relationships and provide exceptional service.

  • Needs Assessment: Understand client staffing requirements and tailor solutions to their business objectives.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling staffing proposals and quotes.

  • Negotiation: Secure mutually beneficial staffing agreements through skillful contract and pricing negotiations.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and labor market conditions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to match client needs with suitable candidates.

  • Performance Metrics: Achieve sales targets and provide regular reports on activities and client feedback.

  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.

    What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

  • 1+ years of proven track record in outside sales, business development, or account management; staffing industry experience preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.

  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving complex staffing issues.

  • Willingness to travel within the greater Portland Metro Area on a weekly basis.

  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.

  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group

    Work Environment

    Standard office environment with normal office-related conditions. Will be required to travel to client sites, tradeshows, and SIGMADESIGN facilities as needed.
