Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and schedules workflow for each work center and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
- Analyzes and interprets drawings, bills of material (BOMs), work scopes, process specifications etc. to determine the content and plan manageable work plans
- Coordinates with supervisor to ensure that the timing of the work order is properly staged in the overall master schedule.
- Raises Purchase Requisitions for emergent material shortages and communicates the production timing and need to Purchasing.
- Validates all Purchase Requisitions based on work order requirements. Updates work order BOM's to ensure alignment with part demand.
- Prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment
- Provide quotations to Sales or Engineering for standard, labor hours and lead time
Communicates with Warehouse and Production to identify materials available for production plan

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 2 years applicable experience in Manufacturing Planning or associated discipline in a manufacturing make to order environment.
