Salary Range: $43,000 - $50,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and schedules workflow for each work center and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
  • Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
  • Analyzes and interprets drawings, bills of material (BOMs), work scopes, process specifications etc. to determine the content and plan manageable work plans
  • Coordinates with supervisor to ensure that the timing of the work order is properly staged in the overall master schedule. 
  • Raises Purchase Requisitions for emergent material shortages and communicates the production timing and need to Purchasing.
  • Validates all Purchase Requisitions based on work order requirements.  Updates work order BOM's to ensure alignment with part demand. 
  • Prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment
  • Provide quotations to Sales or Engineering for standard, labor hours and lead time
  • Communicates with Warehouse and Production to identify materials available for production plan

Education and/or Experience                                                   

Minimum of 2 years applicable experience in Manufacturing Planning or associated discipline in a manufacturing make to order environment.
