Rotating 12 hour shift, 6 AM- 6PM or 6 PM - 6 AM
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will perform preventative maintenance and repair production equipment while working with the team on electrical and mechanical projects. Our state-of-the-art facilities in the US and Canada engineer and design the latest generation of solar products, utilizing advanced manufacturing technology to produce high-efficiency PV cells and modules.
Responsibilities
Maintain production equipment to maximize operating performance and assist with maintaining electrical spare parts’ inventory levels.
Perform repairs on equipment to restore them to proper and safe work conditions.
Perform installation, set up, modification, and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements.
Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Ensure the production schedule is not jeopardized due to machine breakdown or unsafe operating conditions and inform Maintenance Manager about changes in electric circuits and update original diagrams.
Follow LOCK OUT/TAG OUT procedures on unsafe machines/machines being serviced.
Adhere to work orders, preventive/predictive maintenance systems by filling in required forms and organize workplace to comply with housekeeping requirements.
Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to all production equipment as required.
Complete electrical and mechanical projects based on direction given as required by government regulation.
Demonstrate safe work practices and follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
Initiate and complete all other jobs, projects, and special assignments as directed.
Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety.
Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls, and valves.
Essential Skills
Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches, and proximity sensors.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience within a related role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Team-oriented.
High degree of attention to detail, precision, and follow-through.
Willing and able to work rotating shift.
Able to conceive and manage small projects.
At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment with multiple priorities is preferred.
A certificate from technical trade school or Military experience in lieu of or related subject is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $79000.00/yr.
