We are Hiring for General Laborers in Burlington, WA!

Job Description :

General Laborers are responsible for analyzing, sorting, cutting, shearing, and packaging recycled metals for storage in the warehouse or collection in piles and for transport out of the yard. Experience working in a labor environment is an asset, but a good work ethic and a willingness to learn are the keys to success in this role and for growth opportunities.

• Receives metals from customers and assists in unloading if required.

• Assesses and weighs various types and grades of recycled metals.

• Maximizes mix loads of scrap from customers by sorting, high-grading, and segregating accordingly.

• Loads and unloads trailers using a forklift.

• Drains fluids from vehicles and prepares them for baling.

• Dismantles scrap materials and removes high-value metals from them.

• Ensures property, facilities, and equipment remain in good order.

• Communicates with customers to ensure they receive professional service.

• Cuts larger, too thick pieces of metal into smaller marketable pieces.

• Cleans up and maintains equipment and job site.

Hard Skills :

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to be trained on forklift or already have experience

• Ability to work outdoors

Soft Skills :

• Good work ethic

• Willingness to learn

Schedule :

• Monday - Friday day shift, No weekends

Pay :

• $18-20/hr
