What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications: • Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED, and a combination of education and work experience • FEP System Knowledge: Basic knowledge of FEP specific systems, including CRM Salesforce and Carefirst Bridge (preferred) • Microsoft Office Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Skills and Attributes: • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team environment • Administrative Skills: Solid administrative skills, including 30 wpm keying ability with 95% accuracy, 10-key ability, and strong organization and data entry skills • Communication: Strong communication skills on the phone, verbally, and in writing, with the ability to respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy, and patience • Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail • Learning and Analysis: Ability to learn and retain new information, analyze incoming work, and determine the appropriate course of action • Independence and Quality: Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet timeliness and quality standards, and accurately identify and assign various types of correspondence with minimal support What You Will Do at Cambia: • Claims and Correspondence Management: Receives, analyzes, and determines appropriate action for incoming claims, correspondence, and inquiries; logs customer service inquiries and distributes phone reports • Administrative Support: Provides administrative support, including scheduling, maintaining supplies, delivering documents, and scheduling office equipment maintenance • Data Entry and Tracking: Enters tracking information on Salesforce, verifies accuracy of ID cards and documents, and maintains subscriber and provider files • Document Preparation and Distribution: Prepares and distributes correspondence, contracts, riders, and amendments; maintains inventory and mails out individual policies and certificates • Imaging and Filing: Prepares records for imaging, provides backup coverage for imaging department, and maintains and updates files • Research and Communication: Researches returned mail, assists staff with obtaining missing information, and communicates with other departments to deliver or collect critical information • Special Projects and Support: Completes special projects and reports, provides swat support to Customer Service, and trains new employees on clerical functions The expected hiring range for an FEP Clerk is $17.20 - $20.00 an hour depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
