A growing aerospace company in Burlington is looking to add a facilities maintenance technician to their team!
Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the repair and maintenance of the facility. This position may also provide temporary support to other departments during special assignments.
Responsibilities
Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for the Operations Manager and General Manager.
Perform minor repairs of plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, urinals, lawn sprinkler systems, and small diameter piping (2 inches or less).
Ensure outside doors are locked after operating hours.
Conduct minor repairs of electrical fixtures, including outlets, light switches, light fixtures, and light bulb replacements.
Maintain mechanical equipment, including rolling stock (forklift, vehicle, pallet jack), HVAC filters, door mechanisms, and powered tools.
Conduct structural repairs to the building, including floors, walls, ceilings, trim, drywall, painting, roof, and gutter repairs.
Perform landscape and grounds care maintenance, including mowing/trimming lawns, property line brush control, weed control, lawn sprinkler system maintenance, pressure washing, and trash pickup.
Provide custodial support for floors, bathroom and kitchen fixtures and supplies, offices, windows, and trash collection.
Monitor and control rodent and insect activity.
Essential Skills
Basic ability to use electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, and repair tools for facilities maintenance.
Proficiency in using landscaping/grounds care hand tools and power equipment.
Demonstrate safe practices when performing maintenance tasks and understand equipment operation/maintenance manuals and diagrams.
Reliable transportation and a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
Basic understanding of facilities-related operations.
Proficiency in basic computer functions in MS Office and online searches.
Basic math skills used in carpentry (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimal, and fractions).
SCHEDULE
- This is a day shift position.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $54080.00
