Seasonal Fire Hire Douglas Okanogan Fire District 15 is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Engine Leader / Engine Boss for the 2024 summer season to perform pre-suppression and suppression related activities as a member of a FD15/DNR cooperative fire engine crew. Individuals must be willing and capable of performing strenuous outdoor work, safely and productively, working together as a team with agency personnel, accepting direction and acting responsibly. Must be at least 21 years of age and at least Wildland Firefighter II qualified, FFT1 preferred. The duration of these positions is generally 5-6 months with work beginning approximately mid-May or sooner and ending late October.
