Summary You will serve as a Management Analyst (Material) in the Compliance and Strategic Analysis Division of the Supply and Logistics Department at PSNS and IMF. Salary Range GS-11: $81,242 - $105,612 GS-12: $97,376 - $126,585 Responsibilities You will plan, develop, and conduct studies of interrelated material functions that affect multiple departments and operations and make recommendations, suggest courses of action, and develop new and revised processes based on studies conducted. You will mine various databases, and organize and evaluate data to identify problems and improvement targets and make recommendations, suggest courses of action, and develop new and revised processes based on data analysis. You will conduct material management surveys and research projects and provide advisory services on issues of substantial scope and impact throughout the shipyard. You will prepare new and review established directives and delegations of authority which express the operating policies of the Shipyard Material System. You will develop and provide training and briefings to personnel working within the material system to reinforce existing processes that warrant improvement and to introduce new processes. You will review directives from higher authority and advise on potential impacts to the shipyard. You will prepare and present findings, recommendations, and data in writing and orally to employees, management, and leadership, internal and external to the command, and carry out actions regarding controversial issues, and/or implementing ideas. You will design and maintain metrics and reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing material processes by conducting studies to identify and/or improve program inefficiencies. For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, planning and conducting material management studies by analyzing material management functions to identify and improve program inefficiencies.
