Serco supports the US Navy by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory in support of Navy Ashore/Afloat units as directed by a designated customer lead for Federal Services/HAZMAT Program operations to ensure the safety of the sailors and to allow them to perform their missions successfully.

In this role, you will:

• Provide support for the US Navy CHRIMP activities at Naval Base Everett

• Be expected to work with other HMC personnel to make sure all HAZMAT is stored properly in the warehouse spaces and that all environmental policies are followed.

• Check if compliance is not met information collected will be consolidated for final reporting up the chain of command.

• Maintain SAFETY DATA SHEETS, Authorized Materials Users List, and memorandum information's and data entries.

• Use MS Office products which is required.

• Do other additional duties may be assigned in support of this effort.

• Typically report to a supervisor or manager.

This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require that applicants possess U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• US Citizenship

• Ability to obtain NACI

• High School Diploma/GED

• 2 years of related experience

• Some knowledge of logistics/HAZMAT management methodologies

• Experience with data collection/data validation efforts

• Training/experience in Supply procedures and IT systems used in HM management processes including some or all of the following:

• HM Inventory Management, Stock identification and inventory processes IT systems for HM

• HM Minimization Center Operations.

• Ability to train and assist personnel regarding HM management procedures

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudicated background investigation.
