Summary This is a Training Opportunity in the Engineering & Planning Department of PSNS and IMF to gain the competencies necessary to perform Engineering Technician duties. If selected, you will be placed on a Detail NTE 1 Year. There will be no change in your salary during the timeframe of this training opportunity. Responsibilities You will, under direct supervision, assist in the troubleshooting and repair of Lifting and Handling systems. You will, under direct supervision, direct required maintenance/improvement work performed on Lifting and Handling systems on cranes. You will, under direct supervision, prepare alterations or work with Senior Engineers to develop complex alterations to improve crane reliability and performance to resolve identified problems, or replace obsolete components or systems on cranes. You will, under direct supervision, write/edit maintenance instructions coinciding with alterations.
