Commander, Navy Installations Canteen Operator PSNS in Bremerton, Washington
Summary The Canteen Operator is responsible for the operation of a food service facility (canteen) OR a mobile food truck servicing various government work sites located within PSNS & IMF and NBK/Bremerton. Responsibilities Open and secure facility (canteen OR mobile truck). Operate a cash register according to standard cash control procedures. Requisition, stocking and accounting of inventory. Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards. Perform daily routine cleaning for a sanitary operation. May assist in production department. Perform related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required. Must be a US citizen. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Work involves moderate physical effort in frequently lifting or moving objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Constant standing, bending, stooping and reaching. Qualifications Six months of experience as a Cashier. Current Washington State Food Handlers card and valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Must be reliable and able to communicate in English.
