JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Business Unit Leader
*PAY RANGE: *$20.00 - $24.00/Hourly DOE
Summary of position: Clerical duties to include, but not limited to, filing, compiling, storing, and retrieving of data using computer; coordinating with field personnel in the collection of data and the delivery of pay checks. Answering phones and taking messages; position will generate reports and reconcile invoices. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Reports to office manager. May be required by supervisor to perform other functions in other departments.
Required Education: High School or equivalent
Required Experience: 1-2 years in an office environment performing clerical functions.
Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the clerical area.
Required Skills: Excel, Outlook and Word experience required. Communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills necessary. Punctuality and attendance are a must. Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk; must be able to view computer screen for prolonged periods of time; must be able to enter date using keyboard accurately and efficiently. Must be able to communicate effectively via phone or email with personnel at remote job sites. May be required to climb stairs.
Mental Requirements: Must be able to do simple math. Must be able to carry out written and verbal instructions. Must be able to problem solve, organize, and prioritize work.
