Summary:

 

The Senior Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technical projects and higher-order programs of work, within the constraints of the 'iron triangle' of budget, features, and schedule. This includes managing the efforts of internal team members, external partners, and contractors/consultants. Projects include a range of technologies implemented via firmware, windows and mobile applications, cloud systems, as well as custom electronics and mechanical engineering. Programs are increasingly operating under an Agile methodology and Program Managers must be able to lead in the adoption of Agile best practices. Focus of this role is the design and delivery of Fujifilm Sonosite's Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) systems and software.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet deadlines. Manage the schedule critical path and ensure steps are taken to keep projects on track.

Create software and hardware project budgets and ensure projects adhere to budget.

Drive consistent requirements, compliance, testing, and troubleshooting of projects in all stages of development.

Manage project change requests per established processes.

Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project deliverables.

Manage product release content with key stakeholders and other product managers.

Define development milestones including entry and exit criteria.

Manage schedule interdependencies with all project teams.

Define, manage, and mitigate project risks.

Present regular project status reports/updates to executive management.

Track schedules and resources for assigned projects.

Monitor and enhance software development, troubleshooting, and QA process.

Liaise between company, customer, and third parties.
