Job Description

This candidate will join a team that is currently migrating its entire infrastructure to new data center. This resource will be brought in to take over the day to day responsibilities of the team. Responsibilities will be: server administration, Tech refreshes, coordinating with teams, looking over current OS, reviewing current standards, gather information from outside teams, some patching, vulnerability etc. Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&T's cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams. Solution Design and Development Position for a security architect with the ability to understand new and innovative technology across the range of key AT&T technologies cloud and software defined networking. Understanding and developing cybersecurity solutions. Understanding cybersecurity challenges for cloud environments and developing proactive measures. Developing cybersecurity innovations for real time data protection and response.

Position will include assist the technical leadership with forming teams of subject matter experts to understand complex threat landscapes and to drive solutions. Candidate will mentor newer/ less technical team members and share expertise across the organization. This role is fully remote

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in a Linux Administration role

Experience installing configuring and maintaining Linux servers, preferably RedHat 9.

Experience building Lenox servers, both bare metal and the VM's

-Experience using Ansible automation tools.

Dell Servers and Dell Equipment experience

Server Architecture experience

Configuration Management Tools: NFS. DNS, Kickstart, Java, MySQL, Ansible, Ansible Tower

Version Control Tool: GitHub, Git Lab, Git

Virtualization Technologies: VMWare, ESXI Host, Virtual Box, vCenter, vSphere.

Hardware Troubleshooting: building of servers (physicals and VM) iDRAC, RAID, DELL, Windows. CISSP, redhat cert

Bachelors degree strongly preferred, Masters degree in a relevant area (MBA, MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science) preferred.

10+ years technical consulting experience.

Cybersecurity certifications (GSEC, CISSP). null
