Summary: Responsible for working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management. Keeps all stakeholders informed of developments on the projects/programs covering the full range of the programs life cycle. Major Position Responsibilities Has P&L responsibility Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership Basic Qualifications Required Qualifications: Associates Degree Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience 8-10 years experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or specialized Engineering Experience in a DoD environment Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Professional contracting certifications at the state or national levels, such as certifications offered by NCMA - CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, CCMA Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong computer skills, administrative data control, scheduling and team interface Strong written, digital and verbal communication skills in both an individual and team environment Looks for ways to improve and promote quality Experience in planning and budgeting Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.) Must be able to possess strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and have demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the fly Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines Works within the hig
