Senior Project Manager / Systems Implementation Lead

  • Lead predictable and flawless execution of Projects, and Initiatives within Philips Ultrasound Business. The Project Manager is required to work cross-functionally with Ultrasound R&D leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Quality & Regulatory and IT functions ensuring the delivery of consistent on-time, on-quality, and on-budget initiatives across the Ultrasound roadmap.

  • One of the key responsibilities is to lead cross-functional teams to drive and deliver system implementation programs

  • As an SME you will become familiar with the business challenges, understand how they are addressed, author process documents, and train and support the organization.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Formulating the project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing set by management. You will specify the staffing of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment, and quality standards to be used.

  • Determining the project scope, developing strategy, and establishing quality criteria to be successful

  • Actively evaluating the project for opportunities to improve performance; as well as continuously monitor risk and mitigate as appropriate.

  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration across project team members and providing them operational guidance throughout the project, both technically and organizationally.

  • Run system demonstration, pilot, design approval, and business user acceptance testing activities and overall approval processes with senior business stakeholders

  • Take ownership of deploying strategic systems, solutions and processes journey leveraging tools like SAP, Windchill, MES, and user process while reporting workflow in all stages of the process lifecycle.

  • Stay up to date with future directions of business systems and tools (SAP, Windchill, MES, etc.)

  • Embracing and leveraging change management to enable organizational buy-in and program success

  • Directing project team members and provide them operational guidance throughout the project

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience leading a cross-functional team to implement Product Lifecycle Management IT systems, migrating business-critical data, deploying new processes and solutions in a large organization applying change management methodology, driving business-critical issue resolution, and continuous improvements

  • Strong understanding of PLM/ERP solution, processes, and data domains

  • Areas of expertise: Product development, launch and maintenance process; PLM workflows, Engineering Change Management, Supplier Collaboration, Shop floor processes.

  • Bachelor of Science in business or engineering field of study

  • 8+ years of experience successfully leading large complex programs, projects, and initiatives using a structured approach (e.g. PMP, Prince2, SAFE/Agile)

  • Database skills, including writing SQL queries

  • Experience with and applying Change Management methodology in projects is highly preferred

  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to move teams through vague and complex situations

  • Experience of Agile methodologies

  • Experience in complex, cross-functional, multi-supplier projects

  • International team management - Able to assimilate and respectfully coordinate across cultures

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment
