Put your passion to work at Seagen and join us!Summary:The core responsibility of this job is the design and optimizationanalyticaltests to supportdevelopment ofnovelsmall molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug-linkers.The ideal candidatewillpossess knowledge ofmodernchromatographic and spectrometric techniques with demonstrated application of these skills in supporting small moleculeanalyticaldevelopment.Work is typically project based and highly collaborative.Principal Responsibilities:Perform analytical test development in support of process development of small molecule pharmaceuticals and intermediatesDevelop reaction process monitoring analytics through chromatographic or other techniques. Work collaborativelywith process development toensure test methods generate suitable dataExecute impurity and unknown identification workflows using spectroscopic instrumentation (e.g., MS, FTIR)Qualify test methods against ICH guidelines. Prepare technical transferdocuments and development reports. Assist in troubleshooting analytical methods with third party contract manufacturersBe an active member and team player in theChemical Process and Analytical Development (CPAD)groupQualifications:2-4years professional experience inChemistry, Biochemistry,orrelated fieldHands on familiarity in common analytical separation techniques (HPLC, GC) used to measure purity and potency of organic compoundsHands-on familiarityin techniquesusedforthecharacterization of the identity and physical properties of organic compounds (e.g.,MS, FTIR, UV)Familiar with modern drug development concepts (e.g., DoE, QbD)Excellent time management and attention to detailExcellentwritten and oral communication skillsEducation:Master's degree or Bachelor's degree inChemistry, Biochemistry,orrelated fieldAs the leading employer in our industry in the Pacific Northwest, Seagen is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the whole lives of our employees and their families.
