Fujifilm Sonosite Program Manager, QVS in Bothell, Washington

Summary:

 

QVS Engineering is a growing team whose mission is to improve the quality of Fujifilm Sonosite products through their life-cycle by proactively handling component and module obsolescence while strategically reducing COGS (Cost of Goods Sold). The QVS program manager is responsible for leading projects to improve the quality, reduce the cost, and address component obsolescence of sophisticated ultrasound products through their life-cycle as well as carrying out some technical tasks as needed during project execution. The QVS program manager is an experienced engineer with extensive experience in project planning and execution including: scope definition and management, task and resource scheduling, budgeting, quality review and assurance, and project team management. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify (through collaboration with the supply chain team, industry benchmarking, competitive analysis etc.) opportunities for value, quality and sustaining engineering projects. 
  • Manage approved projects with responsibility for managing project scoping, cost/benefit analyses, project prioritization process, capacity planning, time tracking and department budget tracking. 
  • Understand and contribute to technical aspects of the programs/projects. Drive progress via project management of assigned technical resources. 
  • Support the product planners with component phase-in/phase-out to ensure a smooth transition to production.
  • Manage personnel and material resources as needed for individual QVS projects
  • Perform some technical tasks as needed for QVS projects
  • Coordinate with internal Compliance, Regulatory and Clinical teams to ensure that revised designs meet the required standards.
