This Execution Leader would support the Product Management leader, Product Engineering leader and senior product staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

The leader would be responsible for overseeing strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads. They would assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation. They would review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them. They would improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity and drive communication with the product organization.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Product Management function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.

  • Drives internal communications as well as executive communications and reporting - working with operations and data teams to gather information for product leaders, develop dashboards for self service transparency as well as owning content and agendas for town halls and operating reviews.

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and software product organization experience to execute Product policy/strategy.

  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Five of more years of experience in a business operations role

  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Product Operations/Management

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience operating in a Software Engineering organization

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications

  • Proven success in a project coordination role

  • Experience in data analysis and budget management

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
