Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Project Engineer in Bothell, Washington

Manufacturing Project Engineer serves as the Production Operations focal point for program management for the production scope of a project through the entire life cycle from proposal, to plan development and start up through schedule, resource, and task management to evaluation and close out on assigned programs. Coordinate internal operations functions in support of product cost, schedule and quality commitments, generation of manufacturing production plans, and resolution of program issues. The candidate will be responsible to collect and analyze production and financial data. Preferred skills and experiences: hands-on experience managing financial aspects of programs including budget estimating and cost management; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written documentation; experienced user of office applications including MS Word, MS Project, and MS Power Point or the equivalent.

Must be comfortable within a rapid development environment and with the transition to production; able to execute within short timelines and a given budget. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.

The Locale: Bothell is a city located in the state of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Bothell is home to Cascadia Community College and the University of Washington, Bothell.

Basic Qualifications Proficient with MS Office Effective Presentation Skills Demonstrated experience working across multiple functions (PMO, finance, sourcing, engineering) & physical locations Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) Excellent verbal and written communication Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Desired skills Earned Value Management System (EVMS) / Control Account Management (CAM) experience. Experience in Aerospace or Defense industries. Experience interfacing with internal and external customers Experience in SAP. Experience transitioning into production from development Strong familiarity with Production scheduling and execution. Experience in manufacturing management OLDP / ELDP Graduate
