The Manufacturing Laboratory Technician supports manufacturing of chemistry reagents under a cGMP environment for use in Cepheid in-vitro diagnostic products.

This position is part of the chemistry manufacturing team and will be located onsite in Bothell Washington. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Follow SOPs to measure, mix, and analyze chemicals using HPLC, LCMS, FTIR, UV, NMR under GMP guidelines.

• Package air-, moisture-, and light-sensitive materials; support staging for production.

• Operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment, adhering to safety and policy procedures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3+ years of laboratory experience, preferred BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

• Proficiency with laboratory techniques and equipment, including pH meters, balances, pipettes, and rotary evaporators.

• Ability to manage shifting priorities and accommodate schedule changes, including working other shifts and weekends

• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working knowledge of GMP regulations

• Working independently and in a team, maintaining safety protocols and strict adherence to Personal Protective Devices and equipment policy

• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• ·Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25+lbs, any other physical requirements

The hourly range for this role is 24.04 to 36.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
